The ladies at the front desk had horrible attitudes and the nurses were inattentive.. Above all super long wait times
Came by ambulance with a terrible case of vertigo. I could barely walk or move my head. I was vomiting all over. They left me in the waiting room like that for hours because they didn't have any beds. Staff was nice but doctors didn't seem to have any clue. They kept me overnight for monitoring because they thought it might have been a stroke. They then messed up the paperwork saying I was hospitalized for "dizziness" so my insurance didn't want to pay for it. Go downtown.
Nursing care in Mentor is below the nursing care at Euclid Hospital. There was one nurse that cared for me who was absolutely excellent. Nursing staff in Mentor primarily young and Less experienced. . Euclid Staff more mature, efficient and Skilled. Mentor gets a grade A for friendliness, but I’m more interested in effectiveness and efficiency.
Registration for surgery was EXCELLENT. All staff courteous…. Only issue was EXTREMELY long wait… approximately 40 minutes from when he woke until time that they brought me back… unnecessary… only taken to him at time of discharge. Otherwise, he received good care!!! Highly recommend the registration clerk!!!
