Go here once a week. Have an amazing clinician and have attended programs and attending 14 week program. If you are truly engaged and want to heal and get better then they are supportive. I don't have much negative to say as I have been treated with nothing but kindness and respect. I use the mental health/addictions portion on the 3rd floor the paired me with a clinician that is experienced in my type of past trauma and situation

Total joke. I always feel so much worse when I leave so I stopped going. Was told I was assigned to a trauma therapist (you only talk to social workers otherwise) and that I should hear from her in the next week (this was February) so I waited until mid march after going every week since being told about the assignment and they just kept saying wait. Turned away and told to go to an After Hours Clinic, after an After Hours Clinic referred them to me... I have no family doctor, the After Hours clinics are next to impossible to access, and private psychiatry is monetarily inaccessible to me. I'm born and raised 30 years in Saint John, I've been on a waiting list for a family doctor for over 5 years. It's obvious that I was turned down because males are less important for mental health issues, what a joke of a province and country.

I've been on the wait list for several months now, calling and asking how long the waiting list is leads to very awkward pausing, and a super awkward and uncomfortable conversation with them basically telling you they can't do anything for you right now, but they just wanna check in. i've called crying multiple times now quite literally begging for help and it feels like they're not sure how to deal with it at all because they ALWAYS transfer me or get a 'duty worker' to call. the wait list isn't real and by the time they ge... read more

I had dr shamsudin back in dec/19/2019 and i was not happy he talked over me and my parents and he put me right on meds and never told me exactly what I was diagnosed with... (i had multiple trauma in my life from age 4 to 21, eating disorders, i have panic/anxiety attacks 24/7, never really sleep, scared of people, depressed/su*c*d*l alot, self **** and so many other problems...) and he never listen...
