Goodness! Where to even start. I have struggled with mental illness since being postpartum for 18 months. I was misdiagnosed for postpartum depression, adhd, etc. I knew something was always wrong and never felt “whole” or like myself. I been seeing Bob for the last year. He sent a “we need to talk” text to me when I had to go out of my way to text him 2x about rescheduling an appointment that I couldn’t make due to me driving home from out of state. He then went on to explain to me how I have rescheduled and NO SHOWED HIM more than half of our appointments which was a flat out lie. I have never no showed. That is disrespectful to say the least. I have been seeing Mr. Born every 2 months for the past 4 and a half years. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is always incredibly supportive, empathetic, and always makes himself available when needed. I am a mid level practitioner myself, and I can tell you from personal experience of working in the medical field, these are characteristics that are nearly impossible to find in a mental health practitioner.
