Harmony Place set me on the path to saving my life. I was there for three months, 5 or 6 years ago. Wow, it’s been that long! Mark, Lori and the whole staff provide an environment where true healing and discovery can take place. It is not a good experience at all, it is painful and uncomfortable and terrifying at times. This is a place of healing and recovery from trauma. Every staff member is dedicated to the well-being of the client. I've done more work here than a lifetime of therapy and treatment. When you are ready to do the hard work and make your life worth living every day, Harmony is the place. Every therapist is the best at what they do. I cannot say enough about what Harmony Place means to me. This is truly the best thing I have ever done for myself.

Last night I discovered a page of writing Mark suggested I write at the end of my treatment when I was approaching discharge. It was titled "My Personal Philosophy" I hadn't seen it in three years, but everything I wrote came true. I overcame my eating disorder, I let go of beliefs that I was unworthy, I forgave myself for hurting others and others for hurting me.
