Horrible experience!! A male worker was taking my intake and was about half way through, he ended up proceeding to tell me to stop crying. The male worker proceeded to tell me if I didn’t stop crying they would not proceed with the intake. Another worker came into the room named Britney and told me to stop crying. This is to be a place of security and to help female patients get better. If crying is to much to handle for Britney and the male worker, I would express and love for them to find a new line of work.

8 years ago I was admitted to Michael Garron Detox. I have been sober since. This place saved my life. The staff were excellent. They were supportive, compassionate and really listened. The staff did not judge me, they treated me as a human being that needed help. After my stay they continued to help me with a 1 month day program. I admired the staff so much that today I have become my own addictions counsellor. Thank you Micheal Garron detox.
