Galina has been cutting my hair for 6 or 7 years. Every cut has been excellent. I like my hair cut with scissors instead of razor to keep it a little thicker than your standard barber shop cut. She puts a lot of effort into doing a great job. I saw an earlier post about whether she's licensed or not - her license is posted on the wall right in front of you! I also like that she has her own small business - so its more private and comfortable than a big salon with 6 to 12 chairs.

I love getting my hair cut with Galina. She is easy to talk to about what I want to do with my hair and she is very skilled. The other thing I like is you get to eliminate all the drama of a big fancy place and replace it with peace and quiet with a very talented hair stylist.

I have been to all the popular barbers in the Lafayette/Walnut Creek area and Galina is the only one that can properly cut my hair. I have been getting my hair cut by Galina for 2-3 years now and not only does she do a fantastic job but her personality is always warm and welcoming. Absolutely would recommend!

I could not find any licensing information and recommend others do verify before booking. I had high hopes but was let down by Galina. The cut was decent but much shorter than I asked for. I also left with the impression that a large tip was expected which made the experience uncomfortable in my own opinion.
