Great hospital
My mother contracted a staph infection from her IV which they refused to take out when it become painful which extended her stay significantly. Menorah has been dodging her and patient advocates are not and have not been responding. Furthermore, her bed alarm was set and wasn’t supposed to be. She got out of bed which triggered the alarm and a tech (who nobody at menorah could name) got aggressive and put his hands on her. She was not combative and simply needed to use the restroom. My husband had a procedure done here. The doctor never communicated their findings with me, and the recovery room nurse never got me from the waiting room. I called the recovery room area after waiting for a prolonged period, and was told my husband was being transported back to the hospital he came from and to head back to his original hospital. I've been sitting here for over an hour and he's still not here. Zero communication from his care team at Menorah. They completely left me out of the loop. I am not happy at all. As... read more
Would give 0 stars if I could. This used to be 1 of the best hospitals, unfortunately most of the staff are just there for a paycheck and communication is lacking. However most of the ICU staff was wonderful and caring.
