I'm an 77 year old male who moved to Boulder in the summer of 2019. I was not successful in finding an internist who focused on seniors in the nearby area. Ultimately I chose a large practice in Denver that did focus on seniors but found it too impersonal and the annual physical cursory and not up to my expectations. Dr. Jeannette is a wonderful combination of knowledgeable, caring, curious and humble. Her practice structure means she can take all the time she and you need to figure out what's going on and what will be helpful. She is very approachable and incredibly willing to listen and suggest approaches. And if you do stumble across something she isn't an expert in, she happily digs in to learn all about it.
After being Dr. Jeannette's patient for several years, This is what I would like to say about her: She’s full of knowledge and of human kindness - A perfect combination from the very start! She genuinely feels and cares about her patients - Undeniably, a doctor with a brain and a big heart!! Compassionate, attentive, relaxed, not in a hurry - With a sense of humor to put your nerves at ease; She truly cares about your health, your fears and feelings – It’s rare to find a doctor with attributes like these!
I am 80 years old and Dr. Guerrasio is the best doctor I have had since I was a child with a fabulous family physician. She combines all the traits one hopes for in a health care partner: intelligence, experience, caring, willingness to listen and learn, and a great sense of humor. The practice is based on taking the time to really know each patient and care for them as individuals. I could not be happier with my choice to join her practice.
