True Hubris. Case of "Physician Heal Thyself". Expect no less than a 2 hour wait for your little appointment. I will give her credit: she does seem to genuinely care for her patients. Perhaps I am the exception to the rule, admittedly, but I think not. "Your mileage may vary", as they say, but I saw her for 8 years and what a remarkable transformation in essentially being PRN with my meds.

Dr Mendez was wonderful. She brought me out of a state of overmedication by another Psychiatrist. Helped me through the withdrawal. Sadly she moved back to Springfield. Put it this way... 3 years later and I am considering making the 3 hour round trip to begin seeing her again.
Did this psychiatrist use excessive foul language? Not at all! They are always respectful and courteous! Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit? Not one bit! I felt much better when I left! Did you feel safe in this psychiatrist's care? Absolutely! I knew I was being cared for by an expert!
