Walked in the door at 8:09 PM on a Monday. They had no toppings out and when I asked the lady at the counter if they had toppings she said because of the “fill your cup for $6, we put them away” I couldn’t care less about that deal, I stated I’d pay full (normal) price for toppings, she hesitated and with attitude said well what toppings do you want I could possibly get them for you. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Came in almost an hour (50 min) before closing time and toppings were gone. I politely asked if they had them (as in could we have some) and lady with grey hair (didn’t get her name) said they had a special of $6 but no toppings…I said okay, i would pay for the difference but she still stood there as in she wasn’t going to get them for us. When leaving she offered to bring “certain ones out” with attitude. Left due to service/disappointment.
i love menchies, it’s my favorite go to spot. But this encounter had me disappointed. I walked in alone and the blonde worker looked like she did not want to be there , didn’t greet me, oh well not a big deal right. i reached for a cup and she reached to take the same one from me for her waffles, so i had to back off. i ignored it and got my treat and when i went to pay she talked super fast and rudely as if she wanted me out of there. there wasn’t even anyone there besides me. highly disappointed
Do not come after 8pm because they put away all the toppings in the cold bar :( which is 1 hour before closing.
Menchie’s is always a win! The service is friendly and fast—staff greet you with a smile, keep the shop spotless, and are quick to help with samples or flavor tips.
