I prefer shopping at Menards to Fleet Farm and I am basically satisfied with their products and customer service. I just don’t like the way the checkouts are backwards now and having to get a rebate and jump through hoops when they could just offer lower prices in the first place.
After the service that I received on 9/29, I'm changing my 4 stars to 2. Many of the Menards staff were very helpful in pointing me in the right direction & saying that those in the back would load the CA Chloride in my car for me. When I asked a guy on a forklift where the CA Chloride was, the staff on the forklift pointed in a direction where the salt was & said I could load this in my car, & if I needed help, he could help me. I needed a gold strip for carpet edge. Kati was so pleasant and helpful. So many stores today have forgotten what customer service is. She brought back memories of days past.
Prices are the most reasonable for a DIY project and I’m always trying to figure out how to make or do something to our house.
