I absolutely deplore sending workers to the South Side location. Unfriendly, unhelpful, underwhelming service. I hate this store. I doubt it could get worse. And I spend many thousands there every year. No more. I wish I could give less than a star.
I have inconsistent experiences with this store. On my last visit, 3-28-25, I purchased a bookcase and no one, not one employee, offered to assist me taking it off the shelf and loading it into my wagon. I have health issues including chronic pain. Anyone paying attention could clearly see I was wearing knee braces on both my legs. Is this the level of service other disabled customers should expect? I hurt myself loading the item without help. You responded, so you've been upgraded to 3! I've been a customer of Menards over the years and I'm sorry this location gets my bad post. I have corporate level concerns. The difference was literally black and orange. I bought online a MTD Yard machine mower that is black. "They" pulled the rug out from under me and sent me an orange Black and Decker. I couldn't do anything because I bought it out of state/online. Called this location and they told me I must go to the original. I'm not driving 5 something hours to Chicagolan... read more
