nice staff but terrible communication Hospital did not call us with preop information or instructions as we were told they would. We waited and waited the day before and never got a call, finally about 8pm the night before surgery we called ourselves and were told everyone had gone home for the evening but someone in the OR was able to tell us the surgery time had been moved up 2 hours. Had we not called on our own we would have been 2 hours late the next morning for surgery. We do have a nurse in the family who was able to ... read more
Registerd Nurse Will never use this facility again. The post op instructions and follow appointments were poorly explained and the day surgery department had the feeling of in and out.
Fast, Efficient, Helpful. Great Experience Overall I normally would not write a review for a hospital. However, I read all the negative reviews on this website before visiting the Las Colinas Medical Center Emergency Room last night and I was apprehensive to say the least. However, when I arrived I was immediately checked in and shown to a waiting room where a physicians assistant came and checked me out. The doctor came in soon after as well. I received good care at the hospital I scheduled an elective surgery at Northside Hospital, and I am very satisfied with the care I received there. The reception staff was helpful and courteous, I received very thorough pre-op care, the anesthesiologist was very compassionate, and the post-op staff were very attentive and competent. The surgery was performed without incident and I have had a full recovery. Of course, most people leaving comments will be the people who were not satisfied, for whatever reason. Do Not Go To This Hospital!!! A very dear family member of mine passed in this hospital, the care she received was absolutely below par compared to any hospital I've seen in my life. There is very poor communication between the doctors and nurses, not to mention with the patients family members..seeing a doctor or specialist face to face is almost impossible, you get information from the doctors and specialists through the nurses.. note even though she was in critical condition! Northside Hospital long waiting equipment is not service like it should be Doctors do not listen or look at bracelets on your risk. Under staff Rushing to complete a patient caused to many errors I would never go there again or recommend anyone to.
