The Worst Hospital to Have a Baby I went into labor on 12/28/07. I'm writing this because I want all people to know how I was treated at this hospital in hopes you will avoid it, and protect your health rather than just accept what a doctor tells you. I have three children my third child who was born here may have lifelong complications due to his delivery. I will be looking into legal advice. WORST HOSPITAL IN TAMPA My mother was in a bad car accident on March 9th 2012 and was rushed to brandon hospital. NEVER have i experienced worse service. 1) the ambulance took their time getting her to the hospital (25 minutes to go 10 miles) (I arrived before they did). 2) the hospital staff said they would let me know when she arrived and they did not which caused her to be alone after a very traumatic incident for at least 30 min. 3) She was profusely bleeding from her face and no one gave her so much as a napkin to slow ... read more

nice staff but terrible communication Hospital did not call us with preop information or instructions as we were told they would. We waited and waited the day before and never got a call, finally about 8pm the night before surgery we called ourselves and were told everyone had gone home for the evening but someone in the OR was able to tell us the surgery time had been moved up 2 hours. Had we not called on our own we would have been 2 hours late the next morning for surgery. We do have a nurse in the family who was able to ... read more
Registerd Nurse Will never use this facility again. The post op instructions and follow appointments were poorly explained and the day surgery department had the feeling of in and out.
Fast, Efficient, Helpful. Great Experience Overall I normally would not write a review for a hospital. However, I read all the negative reviews on this website before visiting the Las Colinas Medical Center Emergency Room last night and I was apprehensive to say the least. However, when I arrived I was immediately checked in and shown to a waiting room where a physicians assistant came and checked me out. The doctor came in soon after as well. I received good care at the hospital I scheduled an elective surgery at Northside Hospital, and I am very satisfied with the care I received there. The reception staff was helpful and courteous, I received very thorough pre-op care, the anesthesiologist was very compassionate, and the post-op staff were very attentive and competent. The surgery was performed without incident and I have had a full recovery. Of course, most people leaving comments will be the people who were not satisfied, for whatever reason. Do Not Go To This Hospital!!! A very dear family member of mine passed in this hospital, the care she received was absolutely below par compared to any hospital I've seen in my life.
