The billing practices of this facility is very unfair. They are terrible about over charging and it takes way too long to get credits due back to their patients. But, if a patient is disputing a claim with the hospital because of an insurance claim they will throw you in collections quickly but take months to return an overcharge to the patients!
Horrific... Never again. Most un attentive staff in a hospital I've ever had to deal with.
I have worked at MMC 40 years and believe it is the best hospital in town .
If my brother dies because of the incompetence of the staff and doctors at this hospital, I will not rest until the responsible parties go to jail.
Just got a bill from a collection agency for $9000+. MMC told me over a year ago that the balance was $0. The bill is for my wife, that died 1 1/2 years ago. Not the first problem i've had with their billing, and other depts for that matter
