My fiancé came into the ER today at 12pm. She had bad abdomen pain. They missed placed her urine sample twice. One nurse told another nurse “I found the first sample but it’s a couple of hours old and might not be valid but I can still send it to the lab…..what do you want me to do?” The other nurse said “go ahead” A lab worker came to get her twice for a CT scan about a hout apart and told her twice that she can’t take her to get scanned without an IV and that she is not qualified to do an IV. I went through a very traumatic experience due to dog bites. I was scared, in pain, and out of it. The ER staff were nothing but kind and sweet to me. They did their best to put me at ease and make me laugh during a very awful time. My care was excellent. My wounds are healing so well. I cannot thank the staff of the ER enough that helped me at every step of the way. Thank you so much Memorial Emergency Dept. Your kindness will never be forgotten
