My visit was a first for Memorial Hermann. I won't return. I came in due to severe upper abdominal pain that radiated into my chest and back. Felt similar to gallbladder pain, but I don't have a gallbladder anymore. I had a stent placed into my biliary duct 2 weeks prior for narrowing. All of this was explained to the nurse and doctor. If I were able to give this place a zero star I definitely would. Last year, I went to them out of suspicion of pregnancy and I wanted them to run a blood test, and the staff had a very nasty attitude and mouth. Last week, my husband and I went here because he was having abdominal pains. He told the nurses/doctors about what he found on google, and the nurses was like “that’s why you shouldn’t be on google” and continued to make rude jokes and say to the doctor as well. I should have read the reviews before coming here. I was in a car accident yesterday and came in with a lot of pain on my knees and back and the doctor (Anthony Saldovar) touched my shoulders, asked me to walk and since I was able to do so said I just need Tylenol. He didn’t even examine my knees or take a cray after I requested it. I asked him for a note from work to be off for pain and only gave me one for today. Waste of time.
I had read the reviews and it made me skeptical about going to this location for emergency services. But my experience completely negated the negative reviews. It was wonderful. They admitted me in 3 minutes, tops. They ran a variety of tests. Dr. GEORGE SIMONS was very professional, kind, relatable, educational, and had great bedside manner. But the entire staff was great from front desk to nursing. I'll definitely be returning in the future if my body decides to fall apart again. Thank you!
Dr McNierney and RN Holly did an amazing job when I went in for excruciating knee pain and got to the root of the problem and were very thorough. I went in with a walker and came out walking with no pain! I had went to an urgent care the day before and the NP did nothing but put a band aid my knee and sent me home. Turns out that there was a large cyst behind my knee that was discovered through an ultrasound and Dr McNierney was able to remove the fluid with a syringe.
