I had one of the worst experiences of my life today at this so called “ER”. As soon as the doctor came in the room he was already telling me that they won’t find anything on the CT scan because I am a women and they bloat and get stomach pains all the time. They took some blood and I waited for my CT scan. Meanwhile I am in excruciating pain still so my husband kindly said to the women taking me to my scan if she could notify the nurse that I was still in a lot of pain and if I could get something to help with that. Dont go here, one of the worst hospitals around. Doctor told my wife he didnt expect to find anything cause women “bloat”. Shes been in pain for days and they did the minimum they could just to release hee on her own. I never wish for anyone to be fired but Renee the ER nurse should be gone. She wouldnt listen to my wife or respond to me. She even told my wife she was lying sbout her swollen belly! Said she couldnt see it! She then had a secuirty guard come In the room for me! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I took my son here because he was having fever and severe headaches for weeks. The nurse took his temperature and she said it was at 107!! They gave him Motrin to bring the fever down. I asked for a ct scan and the doctor said no because since he was a child (14yrs old) that they didn’t recommend it due to radiation. I am saddened by how downhill this location has become. I debated between here and going to Nassau Bay. I made a mistake choosing here. I've been under a lot of stress, between my Niece's unexpected passing, my son being overseas for 15 mths, working 2 jobs, and dealing with legal issues with my city, sure.
