Dr. Simensky has perfect bedside manner. He's incisive, warm, friendly, clear, thoughtful, careful. I immediately felt comfortable with him and I left thinking he's so personable he could be teaching a seminar for doctors on how to listen to patients and how to treat them with clarity and kindness. I cannot recommend him highly enough: he's one of the best doctors I have consulted in the 40+ years I've lived in Okemos/East Lansing.
Although Dr. Masih is awesome, staff, not so much. I have called twice about a medication not being covered by my insurance, so med was switched to another med that was not covered by insurance. Instead of sending in the preferred to my pharmacy, another med that was not covered was sent in its place. A bit frustrating, especially when I am alright with trying the preferred first.
