Mom has been made to wait frequently in her own waste to be changed. They let her sit in her own filth for over an hour—claiming they were waiting on supplies. Unacceptable. She’s 86 years old and deserves more dignity than this bullshit. 4 nurses, 1 LPN, and 3 techs for 24 patients on a floor is entirely unacceptable and dangerous medical neglect. Recent timing of an underwear change as of March 23, 2025 was 23 minutes and that was with me having to ask twice.
Do not go to this ER unless you like to be humiliated and discriminated against. The ER triage RN will harass you alongside security right from the get go. They will gang up on you,threaten and lie , make false statements for no reason at all, instead of looking after patients they will add to your misery and will laugh at your face and shout get out of our ER. They own everything within a 20-30 block radius. I’ve been in the waiting room 4 hours so far and my dr told me to come to the ER. It’s ridiculous.
Do not come to this hospital. My wife had a slipped disc and they made us sit in the waiting room for almost 3 hours while people after us we're called back. Worst emergency room I have ever seen in terms of service to patients, and I've lived on the west coast. St John's hospital down the street had us back in less than 10 minutes, with medications ready to administer and X-rays 5 minutes after that. If you're having an emergency, do NOT go to Memorial Medical Center.
