They left my dad after surgery without giving any pain meds, compression leg sleeves weren’t working, none of his reg meds were given. They left him in the bed for 12 hours before I insisted he needed to be sat up and moved.
Got sent here during a bad psyche episode. Nope.
I am deeply disappointed and outraged by the blatant negligence and human rights violations I experienced at Memorial ER. Despite suffering from severe injuries and ongoing pain following multiple assaults, the staff at Memorial ER failed to provide any meaningful diagnosis or treatment. My son was in the hospital and had a leg amputee, the hospital decided it was ok for him to be discharged without his wheelchair, without therapy, and gave him a piece of crap wheelchair without anti-tip bars. Even though we went and told them all the things he needed before discharge to be successful non of it was done, and he has already flipped that piece of crap wheelchair backwards and hit his head on concrete. It felt like everyone was in an irritated or bad mood. I went to go use the restroom next to the cafeteria and got yelled at saying it wasn’t a public restroom even though the signs on the wall were directed to that restroom. I was uncomfortable at this hospital and will not (hopefully) be returning.
