My visit was with the emergency room. My nurse was not very friendly, the room was dirty and after 30 minutes I was pretty much told there was nothing that could be done for me because I would need test that would have to be approved first through my insurance. I've been to Emergency rooms before that have always been able to get testing done, not sure why this one couldn't. Very disappointed with my visit here since my other visits in the building have been pleasant.

We just want to give a HUGE thank you to the ROSE unit at Memorial Hospital and it’s staff for taking such amazing care of our Deano. He’s improving by leaps and bounds. I had such a misconception of what the unit looked like, and I’m sad my initial reaction to it was based off of a misconception. The Rehabilitation Of Special Elderly unit is just that! I would like to thank the staff at Abilene Memorial Hospital for the excellent care my father received yesterday from the Ambulance crew, Providers, ER and radiology departments after suffering a fractured hip. The nursing staff in the OB unit has been nothing less than amazing. They are so caring and constantly checking in. Dr. Brown has also been perfect to my family and I. She answers any and all questions and makes sure my needs are met during this transition in our lives with a new baby.
What a fantastic facility! Knowledgeable, friendly staff who truly care about their patients! Thank you all for what you do!
For starters, stop the gossip. It is sad that when people go through a life-changing event that everybody in this hospital thinks it is their business. And then to be rude on top of that is unacceptable! It is a small-town gossip center and I would never recommend this hospital. I am in the process of finding a doctor in Salina due to the way that they treated my friend. It is worth the drive, in my opinion, to avoid this hospital.
