Disappointing lack of transparency and accommodation at MemorialCare Surgical Center – Orange Coast. When I arrived for my surgical visit, I was told there would be no cost associated with the procedure. Following surgery, I was transported to my car in a wheelchair, apparently pursuant to the center’s discharge policy, and I was able to get into my vehicle without assistance. Good hospital, good care for any time I have been there.
I haven’t even had my procedure just out of starting gate so many problems. The primary physician submitted an approval for Preventitive Care went through and got approved by GNP. This surgical center keeps trying to change what the doctor submitted. It seems they take things in their own hands. I’ve never had these issues at Hoag Hospital. Too many issues already with memorial care I’m sad. I lost my good healthinsurance.
