In 1976 I had a terrible motorcyle accident which left me with the possibility of losing my left leg. At 21 years old it seemed like like a life sentence to jail. I went to Jacobi Hospital where initially they helped me in there emergency room but after that the care was not there and my leg became badly infected . I then transfered to Westchester Square hopital where my physician connected me with Dr. Richard Memoli .
