They are a terrible bank, the website and app don't work as they say. They don't have support on the weekends so you are basically screwed on the weekends. Members Cooperative Credit Union treats customers differently. My husband and I both have accounts in good standing at MCCU, both went to deposit money on the same day. His transaction was smooth with no questions asked. I was asked multiple questions before I was allowed to deposit money into my account. This has happened several other times. Members is just a sad place for loans. For years there has been a ten day grace ******* Due to financial difficulties I had been late and would be charged the $ ***** charge, and this charge would be displayed on my bill, and I would pay it. Well sometime after 2021 if I was after 10 days late there was no late charge displayed anywhere not on website or paper receipt. Now all of the sudden I was charged $265.00 for late charges. Horrible place to get a loan or do any kind of business with. The staff is VERY rude, disrespectful and conniving. If I could, I wouldn't give any stars at all. We had a loan and recently paid a big chunk of it off, after that I had nothing but problems. They claimed they had the wrong checking account number on file, even though it was the correct number from the beginning. How it got changed I have no clue. We attempted to mail a branch that we have sent payments before too their payoff check for a vehicle loan. They never let us know that that branch does bit accept payments which for one is just plain stupid how can a financial institution not accept their own payment. They have now somewhat lost our payoff check for an auto loan which we never missed a payment and attempted to pay off early. Everyone we have spoken with on the phone has been extremely rude and does. Ot seem to care that we are trying to pay them their money.... read more

They made a mistake and credited my account with someone else's payment. They didn't discover the mistake until well after I paid off the loan. I've asked for a ledger of my account to show all my payments have been applied appropriately and they just keep sending threatening letters and trying to assess late fees. Avoid this bank at all costs. Very interesting.
We liked having a close relationship with our Credit union and in the beginning have had good service . After my daughters death 2 years ago I became the personal representative for my grandson who is currently serving time in a state correctional facility. With some hard work we were able to get a good chunk of money from daughters estate for her son. His wish was to have control over the money and I suggested our local credit union. Negative Have had a car loan for 2.5 years with Members. Woke up one morning n the car was gone. Police say it was repo'ed. Attempt to get a hold of Members and they tell me they can't find my banking info and have never had it for auto payments. Nor do they have info that they took the car. 3rd call they found the car n now state I had NSF IN my account for payment.
