Dr. Stern is quite knowledgeable in his field and certainly has the medical training required to be a general care physician. However, his advice for young men (I have four boys) is lacking in substance and at times can be downright accusatory and nasty. My youngest was subject to a lecture when he became uncomfortable during an exam and did not wish to remove his shirt. It was nice having a doctor sit down and speak with me with no pressure with time and having to rush to the next patient. He actually listened to my concern (this is major right here) and didn’t dismiss my opinions or thoughts on the situation. Didn’t criticize my parenting decisions but rather focused on the care and development of my child. Seems extremely knowledgeable on a wild range of topics, and seems to stay up to date with medical issues/research/developments etc.
Dr stern has care for our family over 30 years. His knowledge and experience is invaluable.
Staff is very rude and discourteous. After speaking with the doctor it is easy to see where they learned this behavior. I would not recommend this practice to anyone unless you would like to be talked down to and treated like an infant, I myself am a nurse, so I know what proper treatment of a patient entails. If i had the ability to rate with 0 stars i would.
