Excellent meats! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. We highly recommend checking them out and will definitely be ordering more!
Craig gave us an informative and fun tour of the farm and meat processing facility during the ASAP 2026 farm tour. Craig and Abby are responsible, compassionate, stewards of the land and animals. In their onsite farm store we bought some scrumptious spring honey and sourwood honey produced by their bees, as well as some pork cuts. We ate the pork sausage for Sunday breakfast and it was so lean that less than a tablespoon of fat was left in the fry pan. I would drive an hour again to buy from them.
We purchased half of a cow from Melvin Hill Meats over the summer and IT IS THE BEST beef we’ve ever eaten! Every cut has been flavorful, tender and simply incredible. Thankful to have found them. Oh, and their seasonings are a staple at our house as well!
Melvin hill meats is the only place to go get your animals processed at!! They are so friendly and informative! Craig is awesome! Definitely a great company to give your business to!
We toured this farm a couple of weeks ago and wanted to say what a neat experience! Lots of experience with butchering meats. Super friendly and loving family! Thank you for sharing your space with us! My son keeps talking about the neighbors dog and the little boy outside with no shoes on! That’s farm living!
