Great experience with Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Makhni is an excellent surgeon, and his team is outstanding! I was comfortable and in excellent care throughout my procedure. Post-op and my neck is feeling great! I highly recommend Dr. Melvin Makhni and his team!
Excellent all around physician and person!
Dr Makhni did a L2-5 lumbar fusion on me and I had immediate relief. Two months post surgery I am taking long walks, 3 to 5 miles and riding my bike along the cape rail trail . He is not just a highly skilled surgeon, he listens carefully to your questions and concerns. I felt like he really took the time to learn about me. The entire time in his care I have felt like he just didn’t treat my spine, he treated me. I highly recommend him and his team they are amazing and you will get the care and support you need.
Dr Makhni and his nurse practitioner Lauren are very thorough and caring. When I 1st went go the office I was hesitant to meet as I knew I probably needed surgery but tried to convince myself otherwise. Within 24 hours had a cervical Xray, cervical MRI Thoracic MRI, Lumbar MRI and cervical ct scan. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to Dr. Mahkni, Lauren Spang, PA-C and Kim Erazo for their care throughout the evaluation, surgical process and recovery. Each is excellent at their job, and took time to listen and help wherever possible. So happy with the results and not feeling alone during the difficult process of healing, I give Dr. Mahkni and his team my highest recommendation.
