Dr. Makhni changed my life. I had so many doctors trying to tell me to just do physical therapy, cortisone injections, go to yoga etc. he was so clear that those may be bandaids but I needed a partial discectomy. He has the best bed side manner and he did my surgery for my L5-S1 partial discectomy and it honestly saved my life. 6 years later and I’m still feeling great and able to serve in the military with no issues. I truly cannot recommend Dr. Makhni and his team highly enough. My quality of life has drastically improved since Dr. Makhni performed artificial disc replacement surgery on me earlier this year. I went from being in constant pain to pain free. Surgery was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Shout out to Lauren Sprang as well. Lauren is a first-class operator and perfectly compliments Dr. Makhni.
I went to my first office visit with left shoulder and arm pain and numbness . After reviewing my MRI with my wife and myself He explained that the problem was in my cervical spine and that I would need surgery to correct it . He recommended decompression and fusion surgery C3 to T1 . After a lengthy consultation with Dr. Makhni we agreeded that surgery was the right option and I'm glad we did .
