I was overcharged from the moment I hired this firm. They produced a letter to OPM and letter to me for the sum of $4200.00. I gave the firm a $7500.00 retainer to start. I sent Mr. Johnson a fax of excessive phone charges and a charge for re-reviewing 15 documents for $50.00+ dollars. You do a 10 minute phone call and get charged for 40 minutes. I cancelled my contract with $3300.00 still left in my retainer. Johnson overcharged me $900.00 to say my file is closed. This firm is a bunch of legal predators.
I had a great experience from my first phone call. I was greeted politely by a young lady who asked some questions and proceeded to do exactly what we agreed upon. My next communications were with my lawyer and his assistant. They gave me specific directions to follow, which I did and within about a month my case was won. Thank you to Melville ******* Law Firm.
My experience with this firm was nothing short of amazing! From my initial call with Mr. ******* to the follow on relationship with two of the firms attorneys that handled my case, I can say with the utmost confidence that having this firm in your corner will set you up for the best possible outcome! Professional, diligent, and knowledgeable is what comes to mind when dealing with the Melville ******* team. I am so confident in the firm that I have kept them on retainer should any further action be needed! Anyone needs to un... read more
Good firm with great attorneys who can get the job done.
Two words describes my interaction with this firm; Trash and Unprofessional. I had a interview at 4:30 pm with this firm. I arrived 15 minutes early. The lady came to the door confused and told my interview was at 12:15 pm. She then went back to speak with the person who was supposed to be interviewing me. She came back and then insisted my interview was earlier and that the person is busy, but she could give me a call to possibly reschedule. I told her thank you but no thank you. You told me 4:30 over the phone and I would ... read more
It's a rip off from Shaun ******, Sr Atty who represented my EEO complaint case but in favor of the Federal Gov't. George *******, Owner obtained all my facts and I paid initially $7,500 and a lot more. Indirectly, Both of them made things very difficult for me and my potential witnesses. I trusted them as my attorneys but they destroyed my EEO complaint by providing all the details to my Federal Agency. I still had to pay their high charges with the intention of winning my complaint. I was misrepresented by owner and Sr Att... read more
1. The lawyer failed to make an important phone call with the judge. Then, when I called the firm to get the lawyer on the line, they got someone on the line who knew nothing about my case and had no answers for the judge. Then they billed me for putting someone on the line who knew nothing. 2. The lawyer knew that I would probably need a specific witness and failed to mention it to me. Come the day of the hearing, the judge said that he would not hear a certain defense (my lawyer's key defense) because the specific witness... read more
