Tom Melville appraised my parents’ house and land for estate purposes and then continued his service for us by listing and selling the property. Being an estate, the coordination process was more difficult than most but Tom did an excellent job for our family. He found us a buyer and got us our price. He showed us integrity and respect along with a diligent work ethic. Thank you, Tom, for a job well done.

I researched for the most experienced real estate appraiser in my small town. I wanted an appraiser that was invested by time and personal interest in my area. There was only a few appraisers available that met my criteria. After interviewing each, Tom was the clear choice. The M Post: Who is this person identified as M? Totally Fake. Not a Client I have met or shown a property to. So I am arrogant, incompetent, useless, senile, the pictures look bad, don't know the number of bedrooms and don't know about solar? I did not show the property to you? This is terrible. I don't even know who you are? Are you serious? I am the Business Owner that works hard to be ethical and fair to everyone and follow rules of marketing. Rock bottom services at top tier prices. I wish I could say this man is senile but no, he's just arrogant, incompetent and useless. He showed us a home and had no idea how many bedrooms it had and told us to look at the listing while we were viewing the home! When we inquired whether it had solar he said he couldn't remember. I didn't even want to see the home because the pictures on the listing were so bad but my wife insisted. He takes a full commission too which is ridiculous.

Tom is not only thorough at his appraising gig, he's also a more than decent human being. We don't live in the area and realized half way to our family home that we didn't have the keys to the house. I thought we were going to have to turn and head back home to get them when I suddenly realized that Tom had the spare keys! We called him and we met with him to get the keys and were able to not only save a ton of time going back home, but had a wonderful conversation with him. I can't say enough good things about Tom.
