Nice simple peaceful place in town. Walking distance to coffee and restaurants
My booking was cancelled 2 hours prior after being yelled at by the receptionist. He was trying to charge my card before I arrived at the property, which I have never heard of. Even their website says Pay at property. Places like this is why the card that I use only has money when it is warranted. I would’ve been fine if the procedure was explained to me properly instead of being yelled at. Customer service jobs just hire anyone but the actual good people. Positives: Jag is welcoming, helpful and prompt in responding. Bed very comfortable, variety of good pillows and nice sheets. Efficient aircon. Plenty of hot water for a shower. Close to shops and great Thai restaurant. Negatives: Noisy Sat night with music from venue next door. Stayed in room 6. Luckily music finished at 10pm. Woken up early 2 mornings by very noisy garbage trucks. Bathroom shower badly needs renovating, very old, lot of mould/dirt.
