I ordered a sapphire earring from them that was supposed to be a certain size and it visibly was not and they insisted that I had to get a note from another jeweler to "prove" that it was the correct mm measurement. I could have paid to ship it back to them but needed to "prove" that it was their error. It was clearly smaller. I just gave up after one jeweler said they don't write letters for measurements unless I pay for it.

Of course I should have looked more closely into the businesses policies and practices but silly me thinking they would have standard fine jewelry procedures and warranties.
