This is a nice little spot for great ice cream. Small batches keep everything fresh and flavorful. The waffle cones are made in house as well. I enjoy trying one of the new flavors in the rotation, but my personal favorite is the salt lick. I often have a scoop or two after a nice meal on the delightful restaurant row that is Magnolia Ave.

My son has a peanut allergy so I hardly ever let him eat from bakeries or ice cream shops. But this was a special occasion so I thought I’d try. I asked the girls at the front what would be safe for him. I got the Bean, their delicious version of vanilla. Not only did they open a new tub of ice cream to get his scoop from, they also sanitized the scoop just in case! Thank you, Melt, for taking my son’s allergy seriously and allowing him to have a safe treat after dinner!

The ice cream is silky smooth and wonderfully rich. We waited in line for 15 minutes, but the employees were efficient and friendly. Totally worth the wait.
