Fresh terrific food – Melt is definitely amoung the best in Park Slop. The service is quick. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. I had the Shrimp special and it was great. I still could smell the aroma of the my dish. It's heavenly delightful. The ingredients are together to make this place to be one of the best places to dine in Brooklyn.
creative cocktails, friendly staff and great food – We had a small going away party for our dear friend Alexis. I must say the staff and management were very helpful at making this a memorable evening.The presentation of the dishes were delightful and creative.The food was mouth watering delicious, tumbs up to the chefs. This is surely one of the better places to have a party in brooklyn, not to mention, its reasonable as well. I am looking forward to booking my birthday party here, I' m impressed . Job well done,
Relax atmosphere, and Friendly service. – This place is somewhat different from the other restaurants around the 5th ave. area, it has good food. It is a bit costly, but its okay. My boyfriend and I had a romantic evening. The decor was nice and the music was soft, good for the older crowd. My steak was abit over cooked, but it had flavor. The portions are a tad small for the money. Anyway, the important things are that the food and service were good. We will come back on a Tuesday to try the $20 tasting.
Great food, Great service, great atmosphere for reasonable prices – I have passed by this place so often and last night after a faisco at Sugrcane I had teh luck of stumbling onto MELT. Boy was I glad. My husband had the short ribs(delicious), my sister had the skirt steak(grilled yumminess), my friend had the chicken(a lil overcooked) , and I ahd the lamb special(quite good). Great food, but average service. – I was really surprised ,the food at Melt was very good. I had the special, it was a shrimp dish. It was pretty busy, only one waitress on duty, but she was really trying her best. The atmosphere was very cozy. I love the decor and the bartener is a cutie. I will definitly recommend this restaurant to my friends.
Very nice decor, a relaxing place to hang out with friends for a few drinks, fresh and tasty food. – My friends and I, on numerous ocassions, have dined at Melt. Each time, we have tried different dishes on the menu. I must say that the food is very flavorful. I have not been disappointed! Kudos to the chef! I have also come in just to hang out at the bar. After living in NYC for 10 years... – ...and moving to Park Slope, MELT has proven to be just as gourmet and fabulous as anything on the island. My husband and I went there for the 20$ tasting menu and we were blown away by the complexity of flavor, balance and presentation. The Beastie Boys were playing in the back ground and we had fantastic wine to accompany. This could EASILY be my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn. The waitress/ staff were so sweet and polite as well. I couldnt give this place a higher recommendation.
Attention to detail – The staff is welcoming and friendly, the decor is tasetful and stylish, and the food is great. But I think it's the little details that make dining at melt such a great experience.
