Went to Mel to see if he could rebuild a seized B&S engine. He recommended that I buy a new one. Rebuilding would be more costly, no warranty, and would take weeks for him to get to it. Bought new engine from Mel. Had it in 3 days when another B&S dealer said it would take 5-6 months to get a new one. Mel confirmed that the model he recommended was a direct replacement for the engine I had. He was right. It fit my application perfectly (towable lawn vacuum system).
