The mechanic there Mel, told me the waiting there was 3 weeks. And that they didn't work on cycles as old as mine. A 2006 yz 125, 2004 , 04 honda 100cc & 94 z50. But if i took them to his shop in Barstow he could start that day. 3 weeks later nothing. 2 weeks after that barely started working on yz carb. Tires were changed on the 100. Car... read more

Mel has been on point. He has been my sons sponsor for years. Since his bike has been down Mel gave him a bike to keep up on his racing thanks Mel for everything..
5 stars I took my quad to Mel's Motorsports they did a repair on it. Shortly after I brought it home the quad quit running. Mel the owner of the shop said he would take a look at it to see what went wrong. Shortly after looking at it he had the problem resolved free of charge . My point being if you want to get your toys worked on and have someone stand behind their work Mel's Motorsports is the place to go. These guys are very professional and know what they're doing . I have honestly never dealt with Mel or his business, but I would like to advise anyone that takes their bikes there and has the suspension done or have any engine modifications done by Michael Freeman to know that he has taken peoples money and never did the work when he owned his own shop in Illinois then he left town unannounced. I know of several people that said after a handful of rides, their seals were leaking. I have actually seen one person's forks that were destroyed and cost them a lot of money
This guy knows how to fix anything. Very helpful and honest. Best motorsports shop around.
