I went to Mel’s in Broussard on May 31st as I had many times before. The service and atmosphere were fine. The problem was after eating there my wife, daughter and I all got sick. Two of us had meatloaf with smashed potatoes and one had hamburger steak with smashed potatoes. I know that is the risk of eating out and I’m not as upset about that as I am with the response. Great place, good vibes, excellent service. Veggies and beef homemade soup was unbeatable, great burguers too
