The workers would threaten me when I didn’t gain enough weight, this was when I was 12 by the way. I just want to warn parents
Melrose is a wonderful eating disorder treatment center. The inpatient staff is wonderful and meets you where you are at. They are all very caring and want only what is best for you and work with you to meet your goals. I have never worked with a greater group of people. The great care continues down to the PHP program working with great dieticians like Nikki and Rachel and the wonderful MHP Kathy. Thank you all for providing great treatment and giving me my life back! You guys are the best in the business!
They will put you at high risk for refeeding syndrome. Maybe they should research it and actually continuously educate themselves on the field they’ve chosen as their career which affects humans. Force feeding children and threatening them with tubes and inpatient isn’t support for recovery. It supports my grudge like many others. That says a lot. Melrose has helped me so much so far and the staff there really care about you. They are also really nice and just super supportive. They have made me want to keep recovering and I just really appreciate that. I would recommend melrose 100%
