Aging apartments which contain mold. The owner would not acknowledge the mold issues so we had testing done ourselves by a reputable mold company located in Denton. The test results showed positive for several different mold spores. The owner of Melrose Apartments lives in Colorado and he was not professional or respectful. It was a very stressful experience to live there. : (
Our son lived at The Melrose for 3 years while in graduate school at UNT. This is a really nice place to live in Downtown Denton, one block off the town square. It is very clean, with nice modern kitchens and bathrooms. Nice carpeting and ceiling fans. There are washers and dryers in each unit. The landlord is very accessible and responsive to any questions or issues that arise. Our son had no problems living here. It is within walking distance of nice restaurants and the post office.
