What? Came for dinner and drinks. Our bartender was just plain rude and not very knowledgable about drinks. Food was ok, but took forever, it seemed, to get the pizza to the table. When it's made to order, the pizza needs to be worth the wait. Not here folks! The crust was pretty good, but a little skimpy with the toppings. I think I counted 6 pieces of chicken on my large pizza.

Love it! This Mellow Mushroom is a great place to take the kids or meet up with friends. Beer selection at Mellow Mushroom is always great and the calzones are my favorite. They are SO huge and so filling! Definitely worth the wait. Salads and Subs and of course Pizzas are all available too. Clean tables and highchairs available for the little tikes. PROS: hand tossed and brick oven cooked CONS: The wait while it cooks!

10.0/10.0 A+ Fun downtown restaurant My wife and I have eaten at Mellow Mushroom several times and highly recommend it. The food is fresh, of a high quality, and the fun atmosphere (TVs, music, lots of people) make it an enjoyable place to eat. It's great if you have kids. Very likable among all pizza-lovers. I tried a calzone the first time I visited and there was so much cheese I nearly choked! (Yes, that is a compliment.) I can't review any of the salads or other foods, but the calzones are great, they likely can be split with a friend. The pizza is always good, I enjoy it even heated up in a microwave the next day. Really good pizza We went here for the first time a few weeks back. We were pleasantly surprised by the large selection of not only pizzas but calzones, salads and many other items on their menus. The pizza toppings are abundant and they use a ton of cheese. The pizza was very good. The atmosphere was family friendly but slightly more upscale then most pizza joints around here. The service was good even on a busy Saturday evening.
Good food, ok service What can you expect from a restaurant with the word "mellow" in it? Thats the atmosphere and attitude of the place. Pizza is excellent, however if you are looking for a few pizzas, their prices can add up quick! I like going here, because they have a ton of different types of beers, and great selection of pizzas, but dont expect to be served quickly.
A little pricy, but WORTH IT!!! I ordered two medium pizzas one night, me and my husband don't agree when it comes to pizza! Well, what we got looked like larges! Their sizes are big. So, if you see a medium for $15, you think "Whoa!" But, you are paying for more! They can also add fresh garlic on top of your pie.
