Salad is delicious A friend of mine dragged me here to try their Enchanted Spinach Salad topped with dried cherries and apples. The serving was quite huge for me so I have to ask the waiter to wrap the leftover. Very healthy and good for me since I am trying hard to watch my weight lately.
Yummy! This is one of our favorite places to eat. Our children really enjoy going there as well. The pizza has a wonderful taste, and the service is always great!
worst service ever This is the worst place I've ever eaten. The staff is so stoned they can't get your order right and seemed hassled by even the slightest request. Our waiter had sunglasses on the whole time. We never got the salads we ordered and the pizza was soggy. Not to mention, this place is A CHAIN, not a local, hip, joint. I think I'd rather eat pizza hut next time
Worst Dining Experience Ever A group of friends and I went to Mellow Mushroom for dinner last week. Even the horrible food was more acceptible in comparison to the waitress. First, the waitress came with the drinks and slammed each glass down onto our table and even spilled one of my friend's drinks on him. She might have grumbled "sorry" as she threw a towel at him to clean up her mess. Good food, Outstanding service Was referred by a colleague and was not disappointed. Stuffed mushroom appetizer was superior...among the best ever. Service was even better. Wait staff, while eclectic was really on the ball. Anticipated needs and met them in advance, while not overwhelming. Give it a shot...you will not be disappointed!
Good chain pizza This popular pizza joint has an Asheville atmosphere, even though it's a chain originally out of Atlanta. I enjoy Shrooms' pizzas, even if they're not particularly original. They also participate in the WCQS public radio card deal, so you get two-for-one.
More fun than most mellow mushroom establishments. The ambiance is unique and a great distraction while you wait. Very pleasant staff for the most part. This is a place for the family. Safest bet if you’re downtown Asheville with some kids. Food is always great.
