This provider incorrectly diagnosed me at 16 years old. I was an aspiring pilot with a lot of promise and hope for the future, but this diagnosis ruined that for me. This completely changed the trajectory of my life. Unwarranted hospitalizations, laundry list of medications. That was my life for six years because of this doctor. All of this just to discover when I finally left home to be on my own that I don’t have a psychotic illness at all. I am traumatized. BE WARY.
Dr Wellner is a wonderful, sensitive and knowledgeable Psychiatrist (not a psychologist or counselor like other reviews state incorrectly). She has been prescribing medication for my son for nearly 4 years. Our family has always found her to be extremely professional and sensitive to our son’s needs and unique experience of the world. We worked with a different a different psychiatrist for a very short time prior to Dr Wellner and have been much happier with the care she provides.
