Melissa is an incredibly special human being. I know a good therapist like a somaleit knows a good wine. I’ve seen my fair share, and I can be picky. Melissa is a highly competent and gifted therapist. I went through extensive and difficult medical complications from covid and rare lung disease which resulted in being placed on medical leave. Melissa was exceptionally adept at helping me navigate the complex journey of grief and ultimately guided me in adjusting my perspective as well as a redirection of my future. She is highly intelligent, extremely skilled and compassionate. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for her.
This woman is the worst therapist I’ve ever encountered in my life. I was a child in high school and she berated me and tried to diagnose me with asbergers and made me feel unsafe. I didn’t want to do therapy for years after the horrible day in her office. I will never forget Melissa Sexton and not for anything good.
