Melissa has changed my life. Her therapy methods are not easy but help you beyond what you thought you were capable of. She has a way of feeling more like my friend rather than a therapist during our sessions. I feel so comfortable with her and hope she can be my therapist for a lifetime. I have been with Melissa since I was 13 years old. She is the only person that I thought truly cared about my problems. She is the most caring, trustworthy person you will meet. She has nothing but your best interest at heart, hence why I havent left her! I promise you, you wont have a bad experience. Open yourself up to her in one day or months, she will be there.
I was referred to Melissa over 10 years ago when I was sharing with a friend how I had been through 5 other therapists trying to deal with the traumatic grief of losing my son just a few months prior. Melissa is an excellent therapist. My son has Aspbergers, and we have seen numerous professionals in 27 years. She has been the most helpful by far of all of these professionals. She is quick to respond to emails, has a caring heart and very resourceful. She was an instrumental part in helping us apply for SSI/Disability.
