My experience with NP Melissa Noyes was unprofessional and unacceptable. She spoke to me in a condescending tone, made me feel stupid for asking reasonable questions, and even laughed at me for wanting to get my medication from an alternative location. This kind of belittling behavior has no place in healthcare. Patients deserve respect and compassion, not mockery. I would strongly recommend avoiding her at all costs if you value being treated with dignity.
I have seen Melissa many times now and can honestly say after seeing doctors for over 30 years, she is someone that truly cares. I have never felt rushed or felt like she was looking down on me. Each time I see her, she spends the necessary time with me to come up with a best plan. I have a spinal cord injury with a lot of pain, so her patience and willingness to help is refreshing.
I did not have a positive experience under her care. I had to repeat myself several times since she wasn't listening when I was explaining my symptoms. At times she would have expressions on her face showing disinterest. I explained having a massive and severe new onset of a headache twice, and was almost sent home without it being addressed. She got upset with me when I brought that to her attention. I didn't feel like I received compassionate care, and certainly will never go back to her again
