I have been going to Dr. HURD for about 12 or 13 years even as I live in Escondido. I love her. She is very patient and kind and thorough and a good listener.
Dr. Hurd and Dr. Patel are both great doctors. Great follow up. Her staff is always on top of referrals and appointment scheduling. Very friendly and understanding.
I am a financial planner and Medicare planner and three clients that are nurses recommended Dr Hurd. Dr Hurd has been my primary care doctor for about 10 years. I could not be happier. She listens, is knowledgeable and empathic. Her staff is excellent. I have even gotten referrals before leaving the office. Amazing. I have referred many clients to her and they have all been very happy. Dr Hurd is everything you could hope for in a PCP.
Melissa Hurd is abysmal. I attended her practice twice: once, voluntarily, and this later time, assigned by a new insurance company. She violated my HIPPA, and her professionalism was beyond repugnant. She deleted my patient portal after I messaged her to cease contact since I am a former patient. I am considering litigation.
