I have had the blessing to join a presentation of Melissa's regarding Resiliency, Stress and Burnout. She is extremely well versed in the subject and captivating. I highly recommend taking an opportunity to sit down with her to understand the importance of self wellness. Even if you think you are fine, chances are that you may be ignoring something. Melissa is amazing at revealing one's self awareness!
Melissa's approach to wellness is inside-out in the best possible way - working on the inner self will facilitate improvement to the external self. She helps me clearly identify my goals, admit the obstacles, challenges and excuses keeping me from those goals, and choose simple, sustainable actions to achieve my goals. Perhaps the best lesson I have taken from Melissa is that sustainable change is easier when it comes from a place of joy and positivity rather than denial and sacrifice.
Melissa spoke to the women's chamber about how to recognize and counter-act burn out in your life - little did I know she was going to talk directly to me! Her presentation had me re-examining what I was doing and what it was doing to me, and even though I haven't changed much of my schedule, having awareness is making it possible to short-circuit the stuff that leaves me exhausted. Highly recommended!
Dr. Healy did an amazing job speaking at our Evolution Women's Conference in March to over 180 professionals. She gave a presentation about not burning out and the important of taking care of yourself. We had many compliments after our event about how great her presentation was. I highly recommend Dr. Healy.
