I worked with Melissa on a boudoir shoot and had a wonderful experience. I felt so comfortable the whole time and I appreciated how she had so many different ideas. For every room we moved into, Melissa came up with different concepts almost instantly. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Melissa last week. She had everything organized and in order. She arranged a beautiful room at the Dana Hotel in Chicago with amazing views and giant windows! Melissa also had an awesome makeup and hair stylist already lined up. Shooting with a female photographer makes me feel more comfortable already but Melissa was so friendly and sweet it felt like I had know her forever, it made the shoot fun! Melissa did my husband and my destination wedding a few months ago down in Cozumel, Mexico and her photos now serve as a visual way for me to relive the laughter, sunshine and general feeling of awesomeness that happened that day. The wedding was such a blur for us and we were so grateful that she so adeptly captured such wonderful memories (and some missed moments!) that will be with us forever. Melissa took our engagement shots this past Sunday and to say were elated is an understatement. My fiance and I knew our photographer would have a difficult task at hand. Im 69" and Lindsays 56" (heels may help a bit). Melissa from the get go knew exactly what needed to be done in order to ensure the shots worked. Melissa flew out all the way from Chicago to photograph our wedding day in Carmel Valley, California. I seriously cant say enough great things about her. She is beyond sweet and couldnt have made me feel more comfortable. My now-husband and I were thrilled when we saw our pictures. She truly captured the essence of our wedding and the essence of us as a couple. We will recommend her to all of our engaged friends.
