I knew more about her life in the two sessions we had with her than she knew about me and my family. Oh also, she’s an addiction counselor and took in my family when we needed urgent family therapy. We dodged a bullet. Melinda was extremely rude from the moment we called her to set up an appointment to the moment she hung up on me angry that my phone was cutting in and out. She wanted to make it clear that she was moving a piece of furniture from one of her houses to the other and could be heard expressing her breath exaggeratively like we are a huge inconvenience (I'm sure her payroll disagrees). Melinda is a kind and caring person. She was very welcoming and is a very eclectic passionate individual. The office spaces she uses are questionable, the rockledge office was sort of sketchy and hard to find and not labeled well. I didn’t feel “comfortable” in either offices. She was helping me with marital trauma and I was in the initial crisis period when I was seeing her. My husband was also seeing her separately. My wife and I went to couples counseling and had a great experience. We read the other reviews and had the opposite interaction. She is welcoming, friendly, understanding of each point of view, and helpful. She is unique, but this adds to her character and is one of her best qualities. We would definitely recommend her.

I would give a 0 if that was possible. Horribly unprofessional “therapist” and that word associated with this woman is laughable at best. She is incredibly unprofessional, actually yelled at me and mocked me when I grew upset explaining why I came in and why I was upset. She condoned horrible, violent actions and infidelity concerns I had expressed. I literally ended up walking out and advised I would never ever go back to someone so unprofessional.
