Mindi has always been top notch.
She’s a great NP. Listens to your concerns and is very knowledgeable and professional. Always goes above and beyond. If you are looking for a great mental health provider she’s the one. Highly recommend and qualified.
I was a patient of Mindy Halterman for a short time and it was the worst experience I've ever had with a mental health provider. She was so dismissive of my feelings and illnesses. She was cold and rude and treated me as if I was a child. (I was 27) Her 'cure' for my PTSD and major depression was 'just go outside'. She eventually stopped refilling my medications, one of which was a mood stabilizer, WITHOUT informing me. I eventually was able to see her after TWO WEEKS without any of my mental health meds. I have been seeing Mindi for approx 2 years now. She has helped to walk me through some of my darkest times. I have a wide variety of mental health issues included but limited to Bipolar II, OCD, PTSD, ARFID, ADHD ect.. Mindi has used a combination of therapy, meds and personal behavioral modifications such as changes in my schedule, diet & self care. With this combination I have been able to manage my day-to-day.
