Mytrae is one of the few Hypnotherapists in the bay are that I refer clients to for hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and is very grounded as a therapist with sound psychological knowledge and training. I was disappointed the hypnosis session didn't go as hoped, ie I was never hypnotized, and said so. But she got rather defensive and told me I needed to see a therapist. "Yes, I could probably use a few sessions," I said. "A few?" she responded. Then she proceeded to enumerate my personality flaws, having met me twice, but was kind enough to add that "there's nothing wrong with you." Not exactly what you're looking for in a hypnotherapist.
